I have always had a passion for drawing and painting. In school my favourite subjects were Art and Nature Study. Today, the paintings in my studio reflect these continued interests. My own photographs and on-site sketches serve as reference material for the larger studio paintings completed in watercolour, oil or acrylic. 

Making a finished painting to be framed and hung on a wall is not always the goal of my artwork. It is often done for the joy of exploring a subject and recording it in my sketchbook to be remembered and shared with others.
